Hey โ It's Abasiama.
The weather in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria can put a chameleon to shame. One minute it's hot, the next, it's cold. No matter, I am writing you now with the heat pulling it's shift.
X is for RANDOM
Drama happened in my area two weeks ago. The government supposedly reduced fuel prices and filling station owners decided to take a strike action. I walked back home from the market that Monday and so did a lot of people.
We have a saying that gravity doesn't apply to Nigerian markets because anything that goes up never comes down. Example? A tin of sardine was selling for #80 but it is now selling for #1200. (The fake one o)
I don't expect prices to drop drastically, #50 or #100 Naira off will be a great start.
But, I am gossiping about Nigeria. What about you? What is going on in your area?
Y is for UPDATE
Gifted is ready for launch. If you want to read it and send me your review reply this email and I will send a copy to you.
I have been trying to maintain my blog. It's a battle. I have social media pages (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter (X), Instagram and TikTok)
Recently, I came up on my blog looking so lonely and decided to do something about it. I think I will focus on themes from my books and my journey as an Indie Author. I want to make sure the blog attracts my ideal readers. People like you who love the spiritual and are open to exploring experiences.
Question for you: What do you think I should blog about? Which author's blog would you recommend I read before I begin this journey?
