What Would You Say to the First Woman Who Changed Everything?
Ever wondered what you would say if you met the woman who started it all? Here’s what I’m thinking….
Hi Friend,
WORK IN PROGRESS
I have been stuck in a creative mud/rut because, well, that girl Eve decided to chat up a snake. Seriously, what was she thinking? Did she even shake? Or were all animals talking back then?
I am thinking—what would I say if I had the chance to meet Eve? The memories of crying over nothing, battling flare-ups of eczema, and dealing with pimples would probably rush back, and I will just stare at her like... I go give her bombastic side eye.
But what would my main character, Elsa, do? Elsa grew up fast, taking on responsibilities that was not hers to bear. Now, she’s on a mission to find the one thing that brings a smile to her sick mother’s face. She has always been the cool-headed daughter with a sense of duty.
Wait, is that not the story of every first daughter? The stand-in mother, the one who had to grow up fast. If you are a first daughter, maybe you’re more like Elsa than you think.
So, what would you do if you had a chance to meet Mother Eve?
